The Manage Dispatches section in the KS Warehousing client dashboard provides users with a clear overview of their dispatched orders. This area is critical for monitoring the movement of inventory from warehouses to their final destinations. Below is a detailed explanation of each field:

 

Fields Breakdown

1. Dispatch ID

  • Definition: A unique identifier automatically generated for each dispatch transaction.
  • Purpose: Helps track and reference specific dispatches for inquiries, updates, or reporting.
  • Example: "DISP-12345."

 

2. Warehouse

  • Definition: The name or ID of the warehouse responsible for the dispatch.
  • Purpose: Allows clients to see which warehouse processed their inventory dispatch.
  • Example: "NYC-Warehouse-001."

 

3. Status

  • Definition: Indicates the current state of the dispatch process.
  • Possible Statuses:  
    • Pending: The dispatch request is created but not yet processed.
    • Accepted: The warehouse Accepted the inventory this mean now you can dispatched it to selected warehouse.
    • in Transit: The inventory on the way to selected warehouse.
    • Received: The inventory has reached its destination.
    • Cancelled: The dispatch was canceled.
  • Example: "In Transit."

 

4. Dated

  • Definition: The date the dispatch request was created or processed.
  • Purpose: Helps clients keep track of dispatch timelines.
  • Example: "2024-11-25."

 

5. Actions

  • Definition: Provides clients with interactive options to manage their dispatches.
  • Possible Actions:  
    • View Details: Opens a detailed view of the dispatch, including items, quantities, and tracking information.
    • Add Track : Provides real-time tracking updates from integrated courier services once your dispatch accepted by selected warehouse .
    • Cancel Dispatch: Allows clients to cancel the dispatch request if it's not yet processed.
    • Download Invoice: Generates and downloads a dispatch-related invoice for record-keeping.

 

How to Use the Manage Dispatches Section

  1. Monitoring Dispatch Progress:
    • Navigate to the Manage Dispatches tab to see all active and past dispatches.
    • Use the Status column to identify any delays or issues requiring attention.
  2. Tracking Shipments:
    • Click on Track Shipment to follow the dispatch journey in real-time.
    • Integrated courier systems provide live updates for seamless tracking.
  3. Dispatch History:
    • Use the Dated column to filter dispatches by date for easy referencing or reporting.
  4. Taking Action:
    • If there are issues with a dispatch, click Cancel Dispatch or raise a ticket under the Support section for dispute resolution.
