How to view the inventory

The Inventory View in the client dashboard provides a detailed overview of all the products stored in warehouses and synchronized across various marketplaces. Each column displays specific information to help clients efficiently manage their inventory. Below is a breakdown of each field:

 

1. Photo

  • Displays a thumbnail image of the product for easy identification.
  • Helps users visually confirm that the product listed is correct.

 

2. Product Descriptions

  • Shows the name or title of the product.
  • Clicking on the view product icon Eye may lead to a detailed page containing more information, such as product descriptions, SKUs (Stock Keeping Units), and marketplace links.

 

3. Category

  • Lists the category or classification of the product (e.g., Electronics, Apparel, Home Goods).
  • Categories help in organizing and filtering products, making inventory navigation more efficient.

 

4. In Stock

  • Displays the current quantity of the product available in the warehouse.
  • Real-time updates ensure accurate stock levels, preventing overselling or stock outs across multiple sales channels.
  • Example: "100 units in stock."

 

5. Status

  • Indicates the current status of the product. Common statuses include: 
    • Active: Product is available for order and synchronization with marketplaces.
    • Inactive: Product is not available for sale or synchronization.
    • Low Stock: Indicates that the stock is below a predefined threshold, prompting restocking.
    • Out of Stock: No units available, preventing further orders.
    • Published: Product is active on KSW. 
    • Live: Product is listed on KSW whole sale site for other sellers.

 

6. Dated

  • Shows the date the product was added to the inventory or last updated.
  • Helps clients track inventory changes over time and monitor restocking cycles.

 

7. Actions

  • Provides quick management options, such as: 
    • Edit: Modify product details (name, category, stock level, price) click icon
    • Delete: Remove the product from the inventory click icon
    • Add to Dispatched: Clint like to send selected product to selected warehouse click icon
    • View Details: Opens a detailed product page with comprehensive inventory and order history click icon

 

Key Features of Inventory View

  • Bulk Actions: Allows clients to update multiple products simultaneously (e.g., bulk delete, category changes).
  • Search and Filters: Clients can use search bars and filters to narrow down inventory by product name, category, status, or stock levels.
  • Real-Time Synchronization: Inventory changes are automatically synchronized across connected marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, Etsy, etc.
